The inhibitor formulation of Shield‑X forms a protective film on metal surfaces inside the system. This protective layer helps prevent oxidation, corrosion and material degradation of critical components such as pumps, pipes, valves and heat exchangers.
By limiting corrosion and deposit formation, Shield‑X supports consistent system performance and helps protect installations under continuous operation or challenging conditions.
Compatible with EG and PG heat transfer fluids
Shield‑X can be used in combination with both ethylene glycol and propylene glycol‑based heat transfer fluids. This makes the product suitable for a wide range of existing and new installations across different system designs and operating environments.
By maintaining the chemical stability of the system fluid, Shield‑X helps reduce maintenance requirements and improves overall system reliability.
